About Me
- Name: Miriam
- Location: coastal NYC, New York, United States
Raised to be a careerwoman, I put my husband through school and am now a homemaker with cabin fever. I spend my days taking care of our 4 kids, which is why my picure is fairly accurate - I am always tired! I quilt to create something cozy, but also to express myself.

I don't know! Maybe I'd be tearing my hair out. Some fabrics don't seem destined to be sewn, sometimes. Good for you for persevering, anyway. But you are right - careful pressing can cure many failings. Sometimes, when fabric doesn't behave (velvet can be a horror), I use more pins and more pins and sew v-e-r-y slowly.
